HAPPY SPIDER-MAN DAY !
Hold on a second. We here at RETRO, COOL, NERD are DC fans born and raised, butu this is happening. One of the Big Guns from the other comic book company is having a whole day dedicated to him.
#SpiderManDay is upon us, and I must agree the web slinger deserves it.
I personally fell in love with the Web Head from skits on the Electric Company, that featured transitions from a comic book to live action
The very first Spidey adventure from The Electric Company. Narrated by Morgan Freeman (decades before he became famous for his formidable narration skills), with Danny Seagren as Spidey, Skip Hinnant as The Spoiler, and Judy Graubart as the woman whose ice cream cone gets spoiled.
And the Marvel Cartoons from the 60’s, although I watched them in the 70’s. I would run home from the bus stop after school to watch them all- Thor, Captain America, Submariner, Iron Man, The Hulk, and Spider-Man.
Spidey was always my favorite, he had the best song.
Spider-Man is an animated television series that ran from September 9, 1967 to June 14, 1970. It was jointly produced in Canada (for voice talent) and the United States (for animation) and was the first animated adaptation of the Spider-Man comic book series, created by writer Stan Lee and artist Steve Ditko.
Anyway, keep on swinging Spider-Man, you have earned your own day!
