MeTV’s SVENGOOLIE CHATS HORROR AT SDCC 2025

SVENGOOLIE has been a top rated horror show host for many years now, but this is his first appearance at San Diego Comic Con. Iconic Rich Koz (better known as Svengoolie), along with his “Sven Squad”, composed of  Sarah Palmer (Gwengoolie), Scott Gryder (IMP), Bill Leff (Nostalgiaferatoo) took some time to chat with Retro Cool Nerd this past weekend about horror, comedy, what movies actually scare this gang. As the last nationally broadcast horror host on the air, Svengoolie represents a unique legacy in television history, blending classic monster movies with comedy and fan engagement to keep this beloved tradition alive since the 1970s – and on MeTV since 2011.
