3 BODY PROBLEM BEHIND THE SCENES LOOK

If you are digging Neflix’s latest smash 3 Body Problem, you definatley need to check out this behind the scenes glimpes into the making of the genre-bending mystery series. Co-creators, executive producers and writers of the series David Benioff and D.B. Weiss (Game of Thrones) and Alexander Woo (The Terror: Infamy, True Blood) are joined by the cast and crew of the series to share a rare sneak peek behind the scope and scale of the sensational series.

Before entering into an official creative partnership with Netflix Benioff and Weiss read the Three-Body Problem trilogy, “Remembrance of Earth’s Past”, chronicling humanity’s greatest threat to date. Upon finishing the series the duo immediately agreed that this was the creative project they most wanted to pursue. Weiss recalls, “It was, in so many ways, unlike anything we'd ever read, and certainly unlike anything we'd ever contemplated bringing to the screen.” Benioff adds, “It's such an ambitious story, and it opens up so many possibilities for an adaptation.” In addition to the more epic elements of the story — vast and sweeping environments set in a virtual reality world, the threat of alien invaders, and an ominous countdown that can inexplicably overtake a person’s vision — was a simple, grounded core narrative: when the laws of the universe start to break, a group of brilliant, close-knit college friends, whose characters were developed for the series, must reunite and figure out who’s responsible before time runs out.

When the laws of nature inexplicably unravel before their eyes, a close-knit group of brilliant scientists join forces with an unorthodox detective to confront the greatest threat in humanity’s history.
