INCREDIBLES 2 SECRET IDENTITIES REVEALED!

14 years ago Disney/Pixar released one of the best superhero movies ever made, the Incredibles.  This morning @Disney almost broke the internet this morning when it dropped the Stars (and their secret identities) of the upcoming smash, Incredibles 2. The sequel will see the newly popular Supers coming out of the shadows, as Elastigirl becomes the star of a campaign pushing to abandon the old protocol of assigning normal cover identities to Supers.

Disney/Pixar's sequel to the 2004 original Incredibles 2, which has been set for a June 15, 2018 release, stars a returning voice cast that includes Craig T. Nelson, Holly Hunter, and Samuel L. Jackson, already well known for their adventures as Mr. Incredible, Elasti-Girl, and Frozone in the 2004 original Incredibles.

The highly anticipated Summer release has added Isabella Rosselini, Sophia Bush, and Johnathan Banks to the cast.

The forever Beautiful Isabella Rossellini plays a dignified foreign ambassador, who is committed to the support and legalization of Superheroes. Sophia Bush has been tapped to play Voyd, a young, overeager “wannabe” Super and a mega-fan of Elastigirl (Hunter). She has the ability to divert and manipulate objects by creating "Voids", allowing the objects to appear, disappear, and shift in space. Johnathan Banks plays Rick Dicker, formerly played by Bud Luckey in the original, heading up the official Super Relocation Program. As in the first movie Dicker helps the Parr family keep their Super identities a secret to the world around them.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Bob Odenkirk plays Winston Deavor, a “rich, suave telecommunications bigwig”. He’s described as “big in everything he does—including his infatuation with Supers.” (Sound familiar Syndrome?)  Catherine Keener is playing Winston’s genius sister Evelyn Deavor, the real brains behind their company’s success. Newcomer Huck Milner is voicing Dash this time around.

Director Brad Bird will once again portray the gruff, but hilariuos Edna Mode. Fashion designer for Metroville's super community, Edna has created custom-made original outfits for superheroes since the "glory days", proclaiming that she "designs for gods". I assume she still hates capes.

Incredibles 2 hits theaters June 15th, 2018, here's a trailer of the teasing variety. Oh, behave.
